Bunny Slaughter was my Postpartum Doula for both my first and
second child. She has been not only a teacher, but a source of
support for my entire family. I have called on Bunny many times since
the children were born when I didn't have anyone else I could really
trust. Bunny is knowledgeable, helpful, and a joy to have around.
She is an incredibly hard worker with rock solid integrity. I can highly

Bunny was a Godsend! Since our families and close friends were
out-of-state, Bunny was just the answer to our prayers. She helped
us learn everything about newborns, from A to Z, in a very gentle,
knowledgeable and hands-on way. And our son definitely benefited

him and Bunny together. And my recovery from birth was as easy as
possible with her help. From preparing meals to light housekeeping

Bunny is family you would choose for yourself! She joined our family
after our second child, Sam, was born. Caring for, cuddling, and
cherishing the baby was only a small part of what Bunny did for us.
She instinctively knew how we would want Sam treated and took over
wherever my husband or I left off. She is knowledgeable yet
non-judgmental on all things sacred and important about babies.
She made sure not one of us was neglected. She cooked for us, did
laundry, kept the house tidy, as well as took the time to make our
18-month old daughter feel special too. We highly recommend

yet wasn't overbearing and was respectful of all of our choices. It was
so helpful to have someone there who was there primarily for me.
Yes, she would take care of the baby while I napped, but her main
role was to make the transition easier for me - not to fawn all over the
baby and ignore the help you really need, like some family members
tend to. On top of it all, she's a fabulous cook. My husband and I
both cried when she left.
